The Red Abyss
Of course not in love,
But love isn't that far away.
I've been falling into a red abyss,
An abyss which fills me with wrath,
It fills me with despair and desperation,
It makes me cry and puke my heart out,
It makes me tear my nails and bite my lips off,
I've been falling into jealousy for quite some time.
I wonder if people ever feel jealous,
Because in love it's obvious.
You can see them putting their head down while they walk by,
And all of a sudden heads start turning and you hear a few giggles,
It makes us feel excited and bets our hearts on racing,
This feeling is lovely,
And everyone gets a share in this joy.
But jealousy,
Nobody takes its burden,
After all people tend to leave you in your anguish.
But people can't be blamed for something they've never experienced.
Yet throughout hell and heaven, you've been chosen to know this feeling.
I wonder if God did this to the devil,
Sending him into a red abyss,
Which filled him with wrath,
Which filled him with despair and desperation,
Which made him cry and puke his heart out,
Which made him tear his nails and bite his lips off.
Life's ironic isn't it?
If you were to seek love and make one wrong move,
You'd be ridiculed and thrown away,
And fall into a red abyss.
